I. FUNCTION
The Warehouse Storekeeper is responsible for the safe custody of all raw materials, supplies, finished products, purchased items and other store-related inventories. The Warehouse Storekeeper is also responsible for the accurate receiving, storing, handling, and issuing of goods, including occasional forklift operation where required for material movement. Forklift operation is not a full-time function of the role and will be performed only as needed, in line with applicable safety procedures and site requirements. The position is based full time on the project site.
II. RELATIONSHIPS
· Reports to the Site Manager
· Works closely with Corbetti Site Administrator & Accountant and Procurement and Logistics team
III. RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ensure compliance with Corbetti policies and standards
OPERATIONS
· Work within the external laydown areas and other storage facilities at the Corbetti site.
· Ensure accuracy of the facility’s inventory system by updating records of physical inventory totals, receipts, adjustments, and returns
· Take delivery of all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders
· Conduct regular stock checks and audits to verify inventory levels and identify discrepancies
· Manage inventory/supplies and ensure they are within the established minimum and maximum levels
· Handle materials and ensure that there is no deterioration of the material.
· Operate a forklift safely and competently on an as-needed basis for loading, unloading, stacking, and movement of materials within the warehouse and project site, in accordance with applicable safety procedures and site requirements.
· Track, document, and resolve any discrepancies on received orders
· Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the company
· Oversee the orderly storage of items to facilitate easy access and efficient inventory management
· Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of goods, ensuring timely and accurate distribution
· Maintain the cleanliness of all locations, keeping storage rooms and laydown areas neat and orderly and strictly adhering to hygienic standards.
· Ensure that any warehousing is equipped with all the necessary safety measures for the materials being held.
· Verify the documentation of after-hours problems to make sure it complies with the internal controls and procedures in place.
· Assist the Site Administrator & Accountant in identifying any cost discrepancies.
· Any other duties as may be required from time to time.
COMMUNICATIONS
· Ensure proper and regular communication between site, including users, and Procurement and Logistics team
IV. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
· Diploma in Supplies & Purchasing Management or related field with 5 years of experience in inventory control, storekeeping or related disciplines
· Ability to operate a forklift safely on an as-needed basis; valid forklift operator certification or license is preferred or must be obtained before operating forklift equipment.
· Knowledge and application of inventory control software
· Additional professional training in supply chain management/logistics management is advantageous
